Its a proud moment for all of us as Swarg steps in to its 4th year on NOV 7. Master.J.Vikas, son of Eswar Raj a farmer at Dindigul District, has participated in "DINDIGUL DRISTRICT ROLLER SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP" conducted by Dindigul District Roller Skating Association, at Dindihul, has secured 1st and 2nd positions in RINK-1 and RINK-2 Ordinary Levels. He has requested SWARG for a new Roller skating Kit to participate in many other tournaments.

As you know that SWARG representatives were teaching PUC science students (from rural and poor background) at Mysore's Pratham Institute. Its a happy news to inform that all students have passed 12th
One of the student named Jayanth has scored 60% and is very keen to take up Engineering. He has a bright chances of getting a good college in Mysore. He has the CET counciling tomorrow and he has to take Rs 33,000 /- as a cheque on the day of counciling. Due to financial problems he is not able to afford the whole cost. His father is Physically challenged and he is not working and in this situation he has managed to collect Rs 18000 /- and he needs another Rs 15000 /- to attend the counciling and to secure a place in a good engineering college.

Since both of her parents are working and their family income per month is Rs 2500 /- by which they manage to bear the day to day spending. Due to financial problem she is not able to fund her studies.

A.Shameera daughter of J.Anwar and A.Thulath is studying 7th at Sri Arangiah Naidu Middle School, Ayanpuram. Anwar who is a daily wager and Thulath is a house wife. Their family income is used towards day to day expenses. He is not able to fund her daughter’s studies.
Swarg will be conducting a BOOK DRIVE @ Chennai coming Sunday(June 6). Here is an opportunity for you all to use your school, college and general books for hundreds of economically backward and deserving students.
Donate your books. Swarg will find the needy students to use the books. After they finish using it, it will be returned to Swarg to make it usable by other students - serving thousands of students.

We will be visiting Annai Anbalaya on coming Saturday (29/05/2010 ) to handover the Uniforms , School Books and other study materials for the Kids..
We have bought the uniform materials from MadharSha (a textile showroom in puraisawakam,chennai) on 1st week of this month and gave it for stiching. The uniforms are ready now… we will be supporting the kids with two sets of uniforms…
In Accordance with School Books and other study materials , we have got a big support from “CANDLE” , it’s a NGO funded and managed entirely by IBS(Software firm) staff. An initiative towards supporting charitable, educational and community activities.
They have come forward and took the ownership of giving the entire School Books and other study materials needed for the kids. J
We thank the entire Candle team on behalf of Swarg for their timely support which made us to fulfill the kids anticipations by giving them their uniforms and books at the wright time.. please find the mails id of members of Candle team in the CC.
FYI , siva told me that last year it took more than 4 months for the kids to get their uniforms and books once the academic year commenced..
A big thanks for the following members of Swarg who have come forward in paying the school fees for the 8 kids to join in their private school.
It would be great if we could gather in large volumes and visit the home to see the beautiful smiles when we give away the uniforms and other materials to the kids.
