SWARG : Sponsor a Student 2010-2011 - Profiles for the Month of July

From the Start of the current year 2010-2011, SWARG has supported 40 students and out of them 27 has been supported through the help of our sponsors, who are none other than our members. We need your whole hearten support for the current set of profiles whose current family situation are pathetic and they now needs our full support.

We have attached the list with a small background information about them. Please go through it and provide your support to what ever extent you can

M.Alagar Raja Son of Muthu Pandi and Kanagavalli, is studying 1^st STD at B.R.K.S Matriculation School, Coimbatore. Both of his parents are expired due to medical problems and since no one is there to take care, his Grandfather and Grandmother who are Daily wagers aging 50 years. In this old age they are going to work for bearing their daily expenses. Due to such difficulty and considering the financial problem of the family he needs educational support from SWARG.

M.Kamali Daughter of Muthu Pandi and Kanagavalli, sister of M.Alagar Raja, is studying U.K.G at B.R.K.S Matriculation School, Coimbatore. Both of her parents are expired due to medical problems and since no one is there to take care, her Grandfather and Grandmother who are Daily wagers aging 50 years. RamaLakshmi, Daughter of Ganesan and Meena, is joining her 1st year college. She has scored more than 90% in her 10th and 12th STD and she is going to join B.COM. Her father is CAB Allocator in a Travel Agency with a Salary of Rs 6000 /- . And from that Rs 3000 /- goes for Rent and the remaining amount is not sufficient for a family of 4. Due to Financial Problem they are not able to run the family.

Fees for 1^st SEM – RS 8000 /-

Nithya Kalyani, Daughter of Ganesan and Meena, is in her 3^rd SEM B.COM. She has scored 79% in her 2^nd SEM. She is the sister of RamaLakshmi. Her father is CAB Allocator in a Travel Agency with a Salary of Rs 6000 /- . And from that Rs 3000 /- goes for Rent and the remaining amount is not sufficient for a family of 4. Due to Financial Problem they are not able to run the family.

Fees for 3^rd SEM – RS 7000 /-

S.Ramya Daughter of sundar and Gowri. She is interested to Join Bsc. Computer Science at Women’s Christian College, Chennai. Her father suffered from PANCYTOPENIA and expired on 22 May 2010. Her mother is home maker and trying to get into a job, to run her family. She has got a younger brother, studying in 11th STD. since she has no economical support from her family members, she has approached SWARG.

SSP Candidate - Priyadharshani's Mom Shares her Thoughts

SWARG : V.Priyadarshini daughter of P.Vijayababu and V.Bhuvaneswari is promoted to 2nd STD at New Prince Matricualtion School,Adambakkam.. Her father P.Vijayababu has died on 13th FEB 2010. Due to his sudden demise the family is stunned. Her mother wants her to continue her studies in the same school as she is a studious and smart girl. Due to her father’s death she is not able to bear the educational expenses. SWARG has provided Educational Support to her for continuing her studies..

A.V.SHARAN son of Arumugam and Varalakshmi has passed to 1^st STD at St.Joseph Hr Sec School at Marimalar Nagar, Kanchipuram district. Sharan is a studious student and has performed well in academics last year. Arumugam works as a Car Driver at a local company with a very low monthly salary. He is not able to support both his family and his son’s studies at the same time.
